There is so much happening in the world. America is facing many challenges. The 2008 elections have and will continue to make Headlines in the news along with many other news items.

The greatest news however, is that God knows everything and He wants to share with us things that are needed to fulfill His purpose and plan. In Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.”

What has God put in your heart to believe for? What is the HolySpiritchailenging you to expect in 2008? I know that as I grow a little older each year, my heart stays so alive with new expectations and dreams. I believe my best years are ahead of me, not behind me!

In the Word for today, I was so encouraged by this word. “When God gives you a dream He places within you—or within reach—all the resources needed to fulfill it.” Do you have an unthinkable, scary, absolutely wild idea that won’t let you sleep? That’s the way it is with dreams, especially when God’s in them. They appear crazy. Placed alongside the triangle of logic, cost and timing, such dreams usually seem beyond our reach. They won’t fly when you test them against the gravity of reality. And the strangest part is the more they are told “can’t” the more they pulsate “can” and “will” and “must.” What’s behind great accomplishments? Inevitably, great people. But what is in those great people that make them different? It’s certainly not their age or gender or heritage or talent or environment. It’s faith! They are people who think and believe differently.

Helping Neighbors Worldwide Ministries has several ministry partners and their dreams are a big part of our non-profit organization. My prayer and dream for each of the Outreach Ministries as well as the entire Helping Neighbors Worldwide Ministries organization, is that they reach their full potential of God’s purpose and plan. All of us must continue to be dreamers for the Kingdom of God!
