November is a special month. It reminds us of our blessings and gives us the opportunity to be thankful. The Holy Spirit impressed upon me, sometime ago; one of the most power prayers you can pray is a prayer of thanksgiving! Paul the Apostle shows us the importance of thanksgiving when he said in I Thessalonians 5:18, “Thank [GodJ in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who areJ in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].”

As believers we are written into God’s Will! There is nothing He can’t do for you or me if we obey His Word. This is why giving thanks gives you entitlement to the blessings of heaven, because it is in His will to bless us!

I have in my briefcase a card to remind me daily to do two things. First, I say thank you Jesus, for being so good to me and my family! Secondly, I ask Him for wisdom for each and every day. This has been one of the great secrets in my life and has caused God to bless all that I have, in a special way.

Helping Neighbors Worldwide Ministries has been blessed and we are very thankful. The need increases because we are shown new opportunities to minister. You have faithfully prayed and supported this ministry and we want to say THANK YOU for all you have and will do for the Kingdom of God.

We ask for your prayer support regarding one of our outreach ministries; Gambling Exposed. The recent Illinois budget crunch has started the State talking about granting more gambling licenses though out the state. We ask for your prayer support and encourage you to make your voice heard to stop this problem and destructive force.

We have an opportunity to sell the RV that took us safely across America and allowed us to pray for our great nation in every capital city. When sold, we will be short a few dollars and must make up the difference in order to pay off the note. Just think, the only remaining debt of Prayer across America is this final payment!
