"In fear and amazement they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!" Luke. 8:25b The companion scripture in Eph. 1:10 ...to be put into affect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ!"

"Then all the people of the region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to leave them because they were overcome with fear. So He Got into the boat and left." Luke. 9:37 (companion scripture) Eph. 1:17 "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may KNOW Him better."

“The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with Him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return home and tell how much God has done for you!” Luke. 8:38 (companion scripture) Ephesians 1:19-21 “And His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come!”

"So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him!” Luke 9:39b (Companion scripture) Ephesians 1:22 “And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body the fullness of Him who fill everything in every way.”

How sad for the people of Gerasenes, they wanted Jesus to leave like so many people do today. Paul says to the people of Ephesus's, get to KNOW Him better! The Spirit of wisdom and revelation will help you. That's what I want, to KNOW Him better, don't you!

Only the man whom the demons were gone out wanted to go with Jesus! He knew first hand the power of God and He wanted to be where ever it would be! Jesus wanted the whole community that he was from saved. So He sent the man back home to tell them his story! Paul says that this great power of Jesus is for us who believe! I want to believe more and do more for the one not only in the present age but also in the one to come!

The man was so thrilled to be set free of the control of the devil that he told his story all over town. Are we that thrilled with Jesus? We should be! Everything is under His feet and He is head over everything for the church. We are on the winning side!

“Then a man named Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with Him to come to his house because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying.” Luke 8:41-42 (Companion scripture) Ephesians 2:1-2 “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.”

The father Jairus was heart broken because his only daughter was dying. God the Father has grieved because those whom He had created were dead in their sins and lived under the ruler of disobedience against God.

Jesus raised Jairus daughter from the dead, God the Father raised Jesus from the dead and Jesus raised us from the dead! The death of Sin!

"As Jesus was on His way, the crowds almost crushed Him." Luke 8:42b (Companion Scripture) Ephesians 1:22b-23" …the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way."

The crowds were pressing Jesus so hard they almost crushed Him but no one was receiving anything. The Church which is Christ’s body has everything the crowds need today, but are they receiving anything? There are some who do!

A woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind Him and touched the edge of His cloak and immediately her bleeding stopped." Luke 8:43-44 (Companion Scripture) Ephesians 2:4-5 "But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved."

A woman who was dying because no one could help her, touched Jesus and received a miracle. We too were dying and no one could help us. We touched Jesus and He saved us! All because He is full of mercy!

"Who touched Me? Jesus asked." (Companion Scripture) Ephesians 2:6 "And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus…"

The woman was recognized by everyone because she had received a miraculous healing by faith and persistence. We have been noticed by the world because of our faith and persistence in living for Jesus. We get the same attention the woman received but ours will be complete when we get to heaven!

“But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from Me.” Luke 9:46 (Companion Scripture) Ephesians 1:4-5 “But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved."

The woman with the incurable disease found mercy and grace in time of need because she had faith! We were dead in our sins but because Jesus showed us His mercy and grace, we enjoy a great miracle today just as the woman did!

“Then the woman, seeing that she would not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at His feet.” Luke 9:47 (Companion Scripture) Ephesians 1:6-7 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

Once the woman experienced a Miracle from Jesus, she could not remain unnoticed. She did what all of us must do, she fell at His feet in humility! Paul says that God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Jesus. We too cannot go unnoticed by the world. The world must see Hiss kindness expressed to us and then through us to the hurting world! Are you being noticed?
